Born in 1958 - Brazil

Ozi is a Brazilian street artist born in 1958. He started practicing street art in 1985, encouraged and influenced by two great artists who were precursors of the street art scene of Sao Paulo, Alex Vallauri and Mauricio Villaça. He was also part of the first generation of street artist in Brazil. Since this period, he works on the walls of the city and on canvases. His pieces often make reference of the history of art, combining references of classical art and of the pop culture. His work has been exhibited in galleries, museums and cultural centers in Brazil as well as abroad.
