Born in 1965 - Bulgaria
Nikolay Konstantinov is a Bulgarian sculptor born in 1965 in Sofia (Bulgaria). He currently lives and works in Brussels. He has worked during more than 15 years as an assistant and speaker in design and digital arts at the La Cambre National School of Visual Arts in Brussels.
Nikolay Konstantinov does not like practicing only one form of art, he has tried practicing several art forms: drawing, sculpture, photography.
His pieces seek to destabilize our certainties about our existence. The layers of plaster that stand out in his sculptures give us the impression of captured and frozen energy.
