Born in 1967 in Kazanlak, Bulgaria, Grigor Mitsev graduated from the Academies of Fine Arts of Sofia and Munich. He lives and works in Bulgaria, where his works are exhibited, as well as in Germany, France, Luxembourg, Italy and Japan.
A polarizing theme runs through the art of Mistev : combining things that are incompatible at first glance, but that bind together to create a harmonious form. This boundary creates the tension searching for a new beginning.
Mitsev uses different subjects according to his ideas. It aims a magnetic effect to cause the desire to touch and stay in touch with the work, in the almost architectural rhythm of colors, lights and shadows.
