1964 Arts Council Grant of Canada. He moves to Toronto and teaches at the Ontario College of Art, Toronto.

In 1990, Lahumière Gallery (Paris) shows his painting and art critic Michel Seuphor writes. "He paints the world as he sees it from his personal island, and the remoteness makes everything turns into pure beauty" writes Michel Seuphor about the painter.
