The artist describes himself as a heir of Paul Klee, he cultivates his abstraction and nourishes from geometry and mathematics. Mengyao Guo goes beyond the limits of art.
"I believe that every artists can accomplish and transform the abstract, non-tangible thoughts into visible reality." The artist makes a quest, that of emotion as well as of rational thinking. The painter gives features to his emotions on the canvas, specially to the root of his deepest thoughs : his unconcious. Mengyao Guo focuses on the origin of things, being and emotions.
His solo exhibitions have multiplied since 2012 (Sabaki Space and Xinsongyaun Gallery in Guangzhou) and have extended to Tokyo (Jikka Gallery in 2014), Shanghai (exhibition 3:5 Coco Guo at the Pata Gallery).
