Monica Carrero is a Colombian artist born in Bogotá in 1987. The daugther of a Colombian impressionist artist involved in painting, sculpture and interior design, Monica Carrero developed a passion for art at a young age.
She learned to master the different kinds of artistic techniques besides her father, and started creating her own artwork at a very early age using various materials and with a great admiration for forms, details and composition.
Monica Carrero seeks to combine reality with the abstract by trying to express all her imagination through different materials such as steel, iron, aluminium, leather, and acrylic paint.
Her work has been exhibited in several galleries and fairs in Florida and the United Sates.
