Victor Hasch

France Born in: 1945
Victor Hasch is a French painter and lithographer born in 1945 and died in 2012. Known for his bright colored works, his work belongs to the style of the painters that he admired, Andy Warhol, Jean Michel Basquiat, Robert Rauschenberg and Nicolas de Staël. In his last collections, he represented his masters in his portraits.

"Paintings must make you travel, I find in it stronger pleasures than nowhere else which prevent me from dying. I can not do anything halfway and in some way art is a carnage" declared the artist.

His work has been the object of numerous exhibitions in France as well as abroad, in the United States, Japan, South Korea and England. His pieces are also part of the collection of the Saint Paul de Vence Museum.
