Born in Paris in 1964, Jerome Brézillon worked at the beginning of his career as an advertising photographer, and then as a photojournalist.

From 1992 to 1998, he covers several armed conflicts particularly in Sarajevo, Cyprus or Northern Ireland. In 1996, he receives the World Press Photo award. In 2000, he works Finnish filmmaker Solveig Anspach for the documentary "Made in the USA, presenting the death penalty in the United States in the penitentiary of Oklahoma. Then, he produces several stories in the USA, particularly on Bruce Springsteen and the Native American Lakota tribe living in the Pine Ridge Reservation.

In 2007, Jerome Brézillon covers the 60th edition of the Cannes film festival for Libération taking numerous portraits of cinema personalities. In 2010, he works as a photographer during the shooting of Joann Sfar’s film, Gainsbourg, vie héroïque.

During his career, he has worked for many French magazines and newspapers, such as Libération, Les Inrockuptibles, L’Express, Telerama or GEO. He also co-founded revue.com.
