Nadège Aelewaters

Aelewaters Nadège Self-taught Painter. Born in July 1969 in Dreux, she grew up near Chartres in a loving and warm host family. She started painting in 2011 after a sudden stoppage of work. Starting with acrylic, with a knife, with a brush, then with pastel and chalk, two mediums that she likes to work with various techniques and many colors of the world from which she likes to draw inspiration. Her work can be defined as a journey into the soul in an emotional, airy and light universe. Each of her creations tells its own story that everyone can interpret as they please by letting themselves be carried away and following the emotion it gives them. She most often begins her creations by selecting a palette of colors that she works with in different ways, with a brush, a knife by putting materials in it, and also with chalk for pastel. His paintings are often in an abstract style offering great freedom of expression and movement.
