Painting imposed itself on me, a few years ago, as a means of expression, thus allowing me to release my emotions. This desire to paint was born in childhood, buried for many years because of purely material contingencies: to earn my living! But the adult's creative spirit prolongs the initiation of childhood. We do not live drawing on a daily basis without keeping an indelible imprint of it. The flood so long contained for years is pouring out today. All these impressions, emotions, sensations, stored, are restored now, with an astonishing evocation. I want to fix them on a canvas, in an irresistible surge of expression and I search, dig while refusing the easy. Each lived experience enriches my work in a fascinating quest, to try to translate the mental image that is sometimes imposed, with such intensity that a vital need arises to transcribe it, to express it. A dreamy immersion, which does not feed on contact with reality. It is a global and immediate feeling which serves to remain always in the sensitive imaginative intimacy. This technique is an approach that I could describe as intuitive.
