Biography

Junky TJS

Putting graffiti on every media possible, Junky makes his first steps in Graffiti in the 80s. His creativity evolves towards abstract graffiti, he stylizes his lettering and explodes the codes of the Graffiti culture. Not wanting to look like any other, he establishes the Artist’s collective T.J.S (The Junky Spray) at the beginning of the 90s and participate in an exhibition at the Institute of the Arab World in Paris (1991), followed by other exhibitions, and numerous festivals and showcases. His color palette is sensational and an international public is conquered by his uncluttered urban paintings and powerfully colored.

Junky is a music enthusiast: Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, Soul and Hip-hop which also inspires his universe. As a result he cofounds in 1996 with his accomplices Shoet and Nator the label Junkadelic Zikmu (Junkadelic Music) within which he is a composer / producer and a DJ. His keen mind and his talent make of him an accomplished and internationally recognized artist.

Hek TJS

Graffiti artist since the beginning of the 90's, Hek took his first steps in the street where he joins very fast the
TJS crew while exploring in parallel a new support: canvas.

His favorite theme on this support... portraits. Often black, hard or mystic, they never leave you indifferent.

The "dirty", the black, the bloody red often present in these works have only one purpose, to shock the spectator to keep him and plunge him into a motionless image, like the one we see in a mirror.
