Sébastien Pons alias Winston Wilsteiner was born in 1979 near La Rochelle. After two years of preparation at the ENS (Art and Industrial Creation Section), he studied computer graphics at Supinfocom. Diploma in hand, he became a freelance graphic designer and worked for 5 years in Paris in 3D animation, advertising and illustration. In 2008, he left to work in Japan for an animation studio and participated in the creation of several Japanese animated feature films. He returned to France in 2010 to begin writing his illustrated autobiographical book, Le Cycle d'Inari, published by Delcourt while continuing to work regularly with Japan. In parallel with the creation of volume 2 of the Cycle D'Inari, he draws. His work as an illustrator, very refined, is deeply marked by Japanese visual culture. His technique too since it is all in Indian ink that he delicately places his subjects on the paper.
