Philippe Arvin

Philippe Arvin, Painter of XXI century born the 30/08/1970 in Aubagne in Provence. Self-taught, ceramist decorator training. We often summarize his universe to a painting populated by women with clean looks close to the naive. 

Speaking little about his art Philippe Arvin states to be very inspired by his past and the birth of his daughter Chiara, his sensations stemming from childhood touch him by their suggestive abilities. His work extends from the 81s to today. The age of 11 while some have found the craze for a board game developer he is already at the pastel practice. In the early 90's he uses oil as a means of predilection and becomes aware of his vocation for painting. 

This crossing of the century is a crossing of the history of modern art and its major currents. Turn a turn influenced by Cézanne's Impressionism and Picasso's Cubism, let us preserve an identity that associates a figurative expression with reminiscences of the past. 

He draws, paints, mixes materials and combines various techniques with artists encountered during vernissages in various known galleries or collectors notice his work and call him "Rebellious Painter" Passing from the shade to the light he multiplies the exhibitions in the cultural centers of the department and several prizes and congratulations of the art fairs. The Arvinian world does not stop at painting, he will expand his horizons in the years 94/95 by studying at the ceramics school of Aubagne, from where he will leave with a patent ceramic decorator. 

Endowed with a perfectionist spirit unalterable and anxious to preserve certain oils on paper he learns the art of marouflage on canvas! This journey in Arvinism continues to this day again and again to reach perfection: his perfection! His latest works are born from all his pictorial research and from periods he passes through.
