Fabien Léaustic

France Born in: 1985
Fabien Léaustic is a French artist, born in 1985.

His work came into being through the notion of invisible and ephemeral. Léaustic materializes these notions through a sculptural approach, using a precise almost scientific technique, allowing a personal aesthetic creation.

This rhetorical exploration is supported through materials he uses in order to create an exchange between two major elements of his work, water and light; this combination creates installations which make up a visual and an audio path. The artist sets-up microphones, so that the spectator can immerse himself into the intimacy of the artist's work.

He unveils those happenings which one might usually not notice. The complex procedures aren't an obstacle and therefore one can discover a familiar atmosphere where sound and images seem well-connected and creates familiar exchanges.

Noticeable, manipulative, his installations are like hasty realities, imperceptible in our sensitive universe. An analogical approach, deprived of meta-language (like digital), allowing one to sincerely immerse at the root of these physical phenomenons, establishing the thermodynamic, optic and physical fluids in order to support these suggestions and thereby establish these implementations.
