Caroline Laffargue was born in 1971 in Strasbourg. It is there that she lives today, and that she practices painting. After having studied fashion design and obtained a license in Applied Arts, the artist came to this form of expression that is painting. She transposes in her paintings her taste for the material and also what marks her during her travels and meetings. Its theme: buildings, blocks, street scenes of American cities. It also presents these women, "The city dwellers", a reflection of our society, a place of projection of all the myths they convey, icons sometimes in spite of themselves. From these female subjects, she extracts, among other things, beauty, sensuality and finesse in intimate contexts, inviting the viewer to imagine a story around the painting ... The artist is currently exhibiting in Atlanta, Paris, and Strasbourg.
