Born in 1977 - France
Micky Clément is a Parisian photographer. A photography lover since always and a self-taught photographer, he created in 2011 the blog ?A quoi ça sert les voyages? (What?s the Use of Travelling), a laboratory and personal creative space where he publishes his work.
Liquid landscapes, dreamlike vegetation, portraits, eyes of children with unfathomable depths, the artist shows us timeless reality transcended by his vision of a baroque sobriety. Without the use of lights or tricks, Micky Clément searches and reveals the emotion of things always in natural light, before editing his images digitally, offering this way to his ?ingredients? the creative molecular cuisine of today?s great chefs.
On show at the Palais de Chaillot in October 2012 within the framework of the AJAP (Cité de l?architecture) , Micky Clément also produced the new commercial campaign for the brand of clothing Thomsen, in which the actors are singer Lio and his daughters. He is currently working on a photo series for the Verdeau Gallery; the Republic Gallery (Paris) dedicated him an exhibition from December 7 to December 21, 2012. The Foundation Hôpitaux de Paris / Hôpitaux de France has chosen Micky Clément to produce a series of photos stories of « Les pièces jaunes » et « + de vie » for its campaign in 2012/2013.
Micky Clément publishes his works regularly in magazines such as Telerama, Grazia, Tsugi, Marianne, Madame Figaro, Stiletto, Le Bonbon, Modzik, Simon(e), Fashion Daily News. In 2011, he had exhibitions at the Barbershop Paris and in the private mansion Le Carmen.
