Born in 1974 - France
The artist Lou Camino was born in 1974. Her studies in physics, scientific journalism and the sociology of cinema have shaped her artistic creation. She is passionate about the visual arts, photography and writing, and directs individual and collective projects.
Her work is marked by a desire to broaden our vision, to take us somewhere else, into a world that we do not necessarily know but which she has discovered part of while travelling over different periods. Recently, she has focused on documentary formats that allow for more complete observation and analysis of the projects she is involved in.
In 2010, she initiated a project with Coralie Vincent called « Objectif3280 » which is participative, international and takes place in real time. It links multiple photographs according to a process of association of ideas. The objective of the three existing editions of this work is to create together collectively and raise awareness of the importance of photography in those participating.
