Biography

Born in 1965, Laetitia Disone is a French painter.

She took lessons at Sofia-Botero in Paris, the Artistic center of Oxford and Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid before getting trained by Françoise Bricaut in engravings. After having assisted several artists, she decided to make it on her own.

Whatever her medium (painting, drawing or engraving), Laetitia Disone stands out due her unique strokes, which defines the contours of women with generous and fertile forms. Her work is placed between conventional art, aboriginal art and street art. Confronting this universe, allows her to give a timeless look to her paintings. She combines a hint of humor in her models and compositions, which deconstruct and structureprecise forms though sometimes broken up.
