Born in 1954, author and self-taught painter, Francis DENIS lives in Longuenesse, Pas-de-Calais, near Saint-Omer, France.

He was educator from 1973 to 2014.

He was the co-founder of the poetry magazine Lieux-d'être with the poet Régis Louchaert and co-organizer of the festival of contemporary sacred art "The Lookers of Light" in the cathedral of Saint-Omer from 2008 to 2013.

He now has three collections of short stories: "The Seasons of Mauve or the Song of the Cactus", "The Castle of the Gods" and "The Disappeared" by Editions Delatour France.

His texts and illustrations appear in print or on the net throughout the world (The Abstract Hunter, Népenthès, Aéra zinc, Blue Fifth Review, Ellipsis, The Marine Trumpets, The Capital of Words, Squeeze, Voxpoesi, The Ilanot Review, Taj Mahal Review, Monolito, The Ira of Morfeo, The Milo Review, The Bulb Editions of the Lampshade, Under the Gum Tree, Kritiks, Artyhum, Arte.es, etc ...).
