Astrid Yurdsever, known as "Mayu", was born on February 20, 1958.
"After an attempt in law, I turned to tourism for the love of travel. I took pictures as a dilettante for many years, to immortalize family moments, landscapes….! The virus caught up with me almost 10 years ago My main work is in black and white, the color being reserved for certain themes.
My favorite themes are Shadows (my last work), Street life for which I photograph attitudes, backs (almost never face-to-face portraits), the Sea and the seaside, the life of cities abroad mainly, lights, reflections etc….
I love to photograph and I cannot limit myself to one subject. I have been doing internet contests since this year. The latest is a submission to the Lens Black & White Awards. "
