Translation in progress
There is a digital art resulting from friction between real and virtual, between pure painting and advanced technology.
Richard D'Alighieri is this painter who, even in direct connection with the computer world, is never subject to the imperatives of technology because he has the control, the recording of the creation of his artistic project. A great connoisseur of classical and modern masters whose intimacy he knows, techniques, which he approaches in a numerical way, which ends with creative deformation.
Working at the same time abstraction and figuration, seemingly irreconcilable bases, it was created with an absolute and unlimited style, noble references in terms of pictorial art. It also took place beyond radically new and infinite possibilities of realization.
The painting of Richard d'Alighieri is a territory covered with subtle scums and unfathomable amazes.
A vertiginous universe that infuses to its own chaos the appearance of a thrill of soul. Portraits oscillate between being and nothingness, landscapes, between moment and eternity. His work is an invitation to seize our own voice, our intimate perception, when it rubs gulfs bristling with splashes and convulsions.
To contemplate a work of D'Alighieri is to succumb to the unspeakable.
