1940, he entered the Beaux-Arts in Paris, which he left after a few weeks. He followed the lessons of André Lhote for some time then attended a free workshop in Montparnasse and, for three years, the Montmartre academy, boulevard de Clichy. 1952, Pierre Lesieur presents his first exhibition in Paris. And exhibition at the Coard gallery which will regularly exhibit his paintings. 1958, Obtains the Critics' prize, which launches his international career. Working between Paris and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, he subsequently produced around thirty personal exhibitions in France as well as in Tokyo, New York or London.
