Jannick Farrugia

Multi-faceted artist, Jannick Farrugia is a dancer, actress and painter. This last passion was revealed two years ago: a call of the soul. If she followed some drawing lessons when she was young, a gift from her brother following her natural gift, it's self-taught that she develops later his technique of painting. An expression of the heart and the soul of which Klimt, Mucher and Picasso are the inspirations.

"When I paint, I let myself be guided by the brush, the music, the mantras". His paintings are the fruits of his heart, of her creativity, in which she delivers a piece every time of his life.

Through his paintings, Jannick becomes "Ja! ", an explosion of energy and joy, which makes his generosity transpire. It is a touch to everything, in the art: dance, staging, and more precisely in painting: his works come out very quickly the simple canvas to be found on all types of material recycled: old crusts to which it gives a second life, market palettes, cards found at random ... At each find, Ja! is inspired by the soul of its material to bind him to that of his sacred women.

Sacred women who are very fast become his muses. She meets them in everyday life or in dreams. All is instinctive. The creation of Ja! is an ode to the woman, to her body, her heart, his mind. The woman, to be sacred, is sublimated in his paintings but also in his dances. Movement, the sound, the life, each expression is conducive to the explosion of his creation.
