I have been bathing in an artistic atmosphere since my childhood. My father and my brothers paint, draw. It is quite naturally that I got started. I used to watch my dad paint when I was eight years old, and you shouldn't make any noise. For me he made peace by painting harbors and ships. I liked to put my nose in his box of paints, and look at the tubes of different colors, I found that beautiful. I liked the smell of linseed oil. Self-taught painter, I have no limits. Museum, art books, or even exhibitions, in my opinion, there are a thousand ways to train. I have an image in my head and it is while working that it develops; I paint mainly in oils and directly on the canvas. My palette is very colorful. My creative path is simple and instinctive, a visceral need to express myself through color, my painting navigates between dream and reality for me painting is anything but a passion. I like above all to disguise the real. Elements like water, clouds, storms often inspire me, movement, the desire to go somewhere, to escape. I will say that I am looking for an elsewhere, there is always a way in my paintings an exit. Dreams, travels too, visual and interior. I have traveled a lot in Asia. Countries like China, Japan and Cambodia have inspired me a lot. For me, with painting, I develop my own language, it's my way of being in the world. My influences are: Claude Monet, William Turner, Zao Wou-Ki, Paul Klee, Max Ernst, Edvard Munch, Marc Chagall. And Méliès the Magician ...
