Ronan Le Meliner

Completed engineering studies, Ronan decides to travel the world. During his journey, he meets many artists. Back in PARIS, he founded with two friends (Ariel and Idir) the association ABIA (Bazar Intercontinental des Arts) in 1987. All three then exhibited in Paris, London, Moscow, Recife and Seattle.

In Nantes in 1992, Ronan created the “Atelier 10” gallery which would become the “Batelier 10” floating gallery. During all these years, he also organized artistic events, in particular “La belle jour” and “Quai des Arts”.

Today, after exhibiting his artist friends, Ronan exhibits his own paintings. His paintings, often abstract and strongly inspired by his travels, evoke landscapes: Brazil where his daughter Enora lives, India, the Andaman Islands and California. And also, from his native Brittany and the Ireland of his ancestors, he creates a universe that reminds us of the power of the oceans and sometimes the indomitable balance of power they maintain with people.
