Alain Fromeaux

Born in: 1957

Alain Fromeaux is a French painter born in 1957, he lives and works in the Paris region.

Alain Fromeaux studied painting and art history in several Parisian academies and he took some lessons at the Ecole Boulle. In 1982 he decided to leave the capital and go to the south where he decided to become a decorator.

For several months he worked in Montreal, Canada, this trip was an opportunity for him to meet other artist such as; Jean-Pierre Desaulniers thanks to whom he met Paquerette Villeneuve (famous art critic), who was in turn, very close to the famous painter Riopelle. It was Paquerette Villeneuve who pushed him to try his luck in New York.

The works of Alain Fromeaux show very often the importance of the act of painting. Michel Flot gave the artists the opportunity to expose, for the first time, his abstract works, which are oriented towards this need to depict the space between things.

Alain Fromeaux became very interested in the field of quantum physics and new technologies. Recently, his researches focuses on the use of color which offer us an original poetic conception of our environment.
The artist is now convinced that the most important aspect of art lies between things.
