Véronique Villard

Véronique Villard has been a painter for over twenty years. She was a teacher for thirty years.

After having received training at the Martenot School, she took art therapy courses and attended various painters.

She expresses herself through abstract painting.

According to her, abstract painting is a permanent quest for oneself. Every moment the door, transports it towards the unknown. It is a motionless journey in which nothing is defined in advance.

She starts with a house painter's brush and then uses brushes and knives. White in some places, then a few colors here and there and let yourself be carried, carried away. Every minute becomes research; it is a question of stimulating the colors to let emerge a composition.

His paintings remain untitled in order to appeal to the imagination of the visitor.

“I chose art to invariably enter a universe of sensations but also to be able to give voice to my heart. To be an artist is to want to promote the here and now and to hope to leave a piece of oneself between sky and asphalt. It is also an unconscious way of registering in eternity. "

“I structure, I destructure, I compose, I decompose, I seek harmony without sometimes finding it, groping among my lines, my curves, my flat areas. After hours or even months of work, something finally happens that I try to welcome without judging. "

Véronique Villard is also a writer. She followed a correction-rewriting training with Jean-Pierre Collignon, chief proofreader at Journal Le Monde. Subsequently, she obtained a DUDL, a university diploma in language teaching, at the Sorbonne Nouvelle, and led several writing workshops.

She has now released her novel “If you love you must leave”.
