Inveterate photographer since my childhood in the early 1970s, passionate autodidact, I'm always trying to forget the technique, precision and documentary will to the benefit of dreamlike, contemplative and offbeat photography.

Too much information, too many images circulate, making us believe rightly or wrongly that the entire world is known to us, already seen, already lived. How to see something else, how to apprehend different sensations to get away from normalization, how to discover a reality behind reality? Photography, obsessive medium, reproduces to infinity a standardization of the modern vision, each one having to take the same image.

The virgin spaces made accessible by the possible technical "deviances" around the photographic medium offer, far from the standards and canons of aesthetics, emotionally charged images, which is, ultimately, the only goal. I try to transcribe my sensations with all that can capture the image, modeling the light, hypnotically repeating the shooting gesture, trying to experiment with different photographic visions, trying to reflect both the moment and the duration, the uniqueness of the point of view and the multiplicity of the stimuli received. 

A good photograph is only a transmitter that finds its receiver in the viewer. When I come back to the photos that I like, the constant is an initial emotion. The only thing that matters is empathy and feelings, without necessarily focusing on the technical considerations leading to the final result.
