Anna Zagrodzinska

Anna Zagrodzinska is an artist who came to France a few years ago, but originally from Zelów - a small Polish town. His adventure with drawing began from his earliest childhood; people would encourage her to do the pictures and tell her she was talented. Self-taught, she learned on her own during several years of practice.

Most of her drawings are portraits of people or personalities, but she also draws animals, as well as landscapes. As color can distract the contemplation of a soul, Anna makes the use of black and white her favorite colors for her portraits in order to better capture the gaze which she considers to be the "most important" element.

"Through the drawings I can develop my passion, it's something that brings me a lot of pleasure.

My maternal grandfather was very good at wood carving, but alcohol ruined his life. Not so long ago I learned that my mom could have had her painting studio, she was very talented but unfortunately she died at the age of 23 just after I was born. Art has always been present in my family. Neither my grandfather nor my mom had the chance to take full advantage of their talent, maybe I will… at least I hope so. "
