Presentation

Katie has chosen to revisit paintings by famous artists, such as "the cry" by Munch, "the birth of Venus" by Botticelli, or even "the bearing of the cross" by Hieronymus Bosch.

This idea came to her during an outing in a museum, while she was contemplating canvases, she heard young students tell their teacher that artists of old should not have many colors because their canvases were dark and sad. This remark was the trigger that made him want to redo some masterpieces but with flamboyant colors that illuminate your eyes.

Recently, she has also been working on a new material that is resin and which allows her to go beyond the framework of the canvas, because in addition to being curious, this artist is undisciplined.

Katie is therefore an artist who likes to innovate, experiment with new techniques, new materials, in short, going out of her comfort zone does not scare her, on the contrary it stimulates her and thus the viewer will always be surprised and amazed in front of so many originality.
