Emmanuel Tissandier

Self-taught artist living in Essonne, Emmanuel is a great lover of abstraction and in particular of the painters Zao Wou-ki and Vierra Da Silva. Emmanuel has long worked in oil painting on abstract works. However, since 2016, he has undertaken to carry out mainly portraits in watercolor and ink. It is the selfies of strangers that he gleans on the Internet and in particular on Instagram that serves him mainly as models. Emmanuel mixes several techniques in his portraits, watercolors but also alcohol ink that he uses on a plasticized synthetic paper support or on Plexiglass.
