Boshra Coste

Born in 1983 - France

Boshra Coste is a French artist born in 1983.

When she was little, she used to draw on fabric and leather in her father's garment factory, it was then obvious that she will chose leather as a support when she began painting.

On her plain backgrounds, she creates complex figures made with a subtle combination of color keys impregnated of elaborated details in the same style than the work of Henri Matisse.

Fascinated by liturgical art and mythology she overlaps the bodies and the colors and intertwine the straight lines and the curves. Her colorful frescoes embody the fusion of her two origins, Western and Eastern.
