Laurent Chabrillat

Introduced to drawing and painting by his father, he was quickly attracted by impressionist painters and fell in love. His studies and his professional life guide him towards a career as a lawyer, but he does not completely abandon his pencils and brushes. It was at the beginning of the 2000s and following the meeting with Pierre Belon, painter and president of the Group, that he decided to give a greater place to painting and that he became a member of this association of which he is today. one of the administrators. 

He now exhibits regularly on collective fairs for which the association is the organizer or simply as a participant in regional, national or individual fairs. He finds his inspiration in the search for shapes and the association and contrast of colors in thin or thicker layers. He enjoys the relationship with matter and playing with it through the use of different techniques and tools and materials. 

Polymorphic painter, balanced between a figurative approach and a need for free and creative expression, the result of his work is according to his feelings and his moods sometimes figurative sometimes abstract although this always results in the starting point of a landscape, of a subject, of the life that surrounds it.
