Ursula Korzinska

Studies in the history of art shaped my outlook. This passion for art, to which was added the discovery of contemporary dance and live performance, led me to create and make stage costumes, then to dye and, finally, to imagine another purpose for textiles. . I focused my color work, with silk organza as a support, on the expression of the line dyed according to my own processes.

From the tank to be dyed to the photo, it's all this journey from color to the filter of the moment that I'm trying to share. So many ephemeral moments where vibrant light penetrates color, plays with overlays, graphics and movement. There is indeed a timeless reality which draws its source from moments of grace.

My pieces are permanently exhibited at the * Galerie iki * in Paris and the * Galerie Bettina Flament * in Lille. In 2016 and 2017, she was at * Galerie Hilde Leiss * in Hamburg and * at Rue Pigalle Studio * in Toronto. In 2015, the exhibition * Murmures d'eau - dialogues dans une atelier * at the Galerie du Marais in Paris brought them into an enchanted face-to-face with the paintings of Blanc (Blandine Mulliez).
