Chris Tiboise is an artist from the Paris region, born in 1974. His childhood was strongly marked by his walks and his trips in the metro, between Saint-German-des-Pres and Stalingrad. He begin his studies in graphic art but got a degree in Cinema. His career as an assistant operator during 10 years had a big influence in his artistic creation.
He started practicing street art in 1989, year of his arrival in Nice. He was strongly influenced by the theory of "everything is art" of the School of Nice and by the world of Graffiti. However, it was the soul of the neighborhoods of Paris, from the Bohemian bourgeoisie to Hip Hop, that taught him the basics of his creation.
The artist explores working with resin, steel, concrete, wood..... so many mediums to reproduce his creativity. His artistic cry raises political questions and forgotten subjects. His creations reflect his political convictions. His thirst for freedom highlights his sense of democracy.
