Jean Desprez

Jean-Pierre Desprez grew up in Brittany, always close to the sea. At 6 years old, the child spends his time on weekends and holidays aboard modest boats of 5 to 8 m in the bay of Saint Malo. He developed a passion for sailing, model making and naval architecture at a young age.

He is passionate about astronomy and astrophysics and stops his desire to become an astrophysicist by meeting a doctor in astrophysics who is a little too high for his taste!

He obtained a bac C with honors, considered applying to an English school of naval architecture and joined to his great despair an Engineering School of Applied Sciences INSA Rennes, option in computer science and Image Synthesis. He did an internship in New York, opening his eyes to another world but the call of the New York stock exchange did not make him vibrate ...

He is passionate about Montpellier and decides that his first job will be in Languedoc Roussillon.

He never stops drawing sailboats, architectural projects based on sailboat hulls, but always puts aside his drawings as soon as daily work begins again.

He quickly took over the management of a computer engineering agency of around thirty engineers but his pronounced taste for business creation and "Group" formatting indifferent him, he was led at the age of 29 to take over a carpentry in the Puy de Dôme near the books of Emile Zola.
