Sabine Christmann

Translation in progress

Sabine Christmann, born in 1960, is a German painter who lives and works in Germany. From 1981 to 1983 Sabine Christmann studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe under Professor Peter Dreher. She completed her training from 1983 to 1986 at the University of Fine Arts in Stuttgart under Prof. Rudolf Haegele.

Her works are part of large collections and are exhibited in internationally renowned galleries and in Europe in major international fairs.

Sabine Christmann paints hyperrealist, seemingly banal, everyday objects. It becomes quickly obvious however, that there is much more to it than meets the eye/ how much ingenuity is actually present in her work, which contains deep meaning and social reflection.
