Biography
Gerd Reutter is a German artist, born in 1931. He began working as a painter in the Jesuit Church in Mannheim, after working as a grocer for a few years. Gerd Reutter became active in the artistic world only after his retirement. Gerd Reutter makes ceramic sculptures, along the same lines of a long tradition from the beginning of the 20th Century, those in clay follow another path, and are more in keeping with Auguste Rodin's sculptures. Gerd Reutter's work has been displayed during several exhibitions, mainly in Northern and Eastern Europe, Germany and Russia.
