Biography

Ruth Bloch is an Israeli sculptor, born in 1951.

Ruth Bloch's work has the same desire, which is to give life through emotions and feelings. Each of her sculptures are worked in a specific manner, so that her feelings are portrayed in 3D.

Ruth Bloch's favorite pattern is the woman's body and femininity in general, even though the image of a couple is seen quite often in her themes. However, woman and her body remain the main focus of her research.

Ruth Bloch's work wants to have an effect on the spectator, trigger reactions and wake up emotions. Poetic and sensual, each one of her sculptures tells a tale on femininity. The artist's aim is to associate emotion and beauty in an intimate manner.
