Presentation

The world of nature is a fundamental part of Gianluca Motto's painting and the "Butterflies" are his latest inspiration. In this series, the artist is measured with an ancient theme that has always been a metaphor of what is transformed and which is intrinsically fragile.

The butterfly, bride of the ever-changing and ever-changing beauty, beats her wings together with the verses of the artist's favorite poet, Charles Baudelaire flies over thoughts in an incessant dance of colors making us reflect on the uncertain pulse of life.

The butterflies move, they are alive, shaken by the wind and by the movements that turn them from nymphs to dazzling insects always hunting for colors and perfumes. Motto's butterflies, if you look at them, you have the impression that they are on the verge of disappearing, flying away, passing from flower to flower. Fleeting thoughts in the form of butterflies that meditate on the unstable balance of life, on the pursuit of beauty and happiness. The works of Gianluca Motto are present in many Italian and foreign galleries.
