Presentation
My art works are expressed through the medium of the copperplate etching.
I use an original mixed media technique to create them that combines collage and washi, the Japanese handmade paper, as well as watercolors, Chinese ink, gilding or gofun, which is a white pigment made from grinding shells.
I broach the themes of “coexistence” and “weathering” of human beings, animals and plants.
And only recently, I am trying to go beyond “time and space” in order to create a visual experience that takes a person looking at it on a journey across the past and the present.
I want to create art works that reach all those who see them, arouse feelings, stir up “curiosity”, and might be engrave into one's memory.
