Born in Nabatieh (South Lebanon) in 1947, Adel Koudaih graduated in drawing and painting from the National Institute of Fine Arts of the Lebanese University. Holder of a master's degree in history from the Lebanese University, he completed his doctorate in visual arts in Paris in 1988. Since 1972, he has exhibited individually in Lebanon and in Paris. He also participates in numerous group exhibitions in France and the Middle East. Member of the Association of Lebanese Painters and Sculptors and of the “Modern Essays” group, he regularly teaches drawing or painting in Lebanese universities.
