Suzette Hawae was born in 1971 in the Netherlands where she grew up, she then moved to London, where she currently lives. She graduated with honors as a drawing and painting teacher from the University of Arts of Utrecht.
She started working at first in Dutch television shows and decorating theater sets. She then moved to Amsterdam, where she realized that her job as a teacher restricted her search for artistic expression. Based currently in London, she says she appreciates all the aspects of the urban life dynamic, all the glamour and the colors that she finds in the women in this cosmopolitan world is an essential source of inspiration for her.
