Katarzyna Stanny (born in 1979)
She studied graphic arts under prof. Mieczyslaw Wasilewski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She received her diploma with annexes in photography and drawing in 2004. Since 2005, she has worked at her alma mater where together with prof.
Roslaw Szaybo she has been coordinating the atelier of photography. Between 2004 and 2011, she worked as an assistant in the atelier of illustration at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lódz. She received her doctoral degree in 2010 – her dissertation concerned the influence of folk art on applied arts of the XXth century. She also graduated from the Institute of History of the University of Warsaw.
