Presentation

Since his training in architecture and urban planning in Krakow, Nawer has refined his artistic practice, between constructivism and futurism, developing as key notions of his work, perspective and axonometry with a unique vision. Coming from graffiti, it is naturally located within the Graffuturism movement. His geometric abstract paintings have been exhibited since the group's very first collective exhibition (Futurism 2.0, London, 2012). His first collaboration with Galerie Openspace dates back to 2013 and his cycle of exhibitions Graffuturism-Paris. Handling the softness of colors with a very graphic and architectural vision, Nawer stands out as one of the best representatives of the movement, occupying a central place in the Polish art scene. He brings together by curating a collective artistic project, Boom Apartments, bringing together a large number of international artists for in situ installations and murals. Exhibiting his work in Poland and the United States for several years, 2015 sees the coming of a pivotal moment with his exhibition Colors in Shapesland in Tokyo at the Kai Kai Kiki / Hidari Zingaro gallery held by star artist Takashi Murakami. An event that gives it a new international aura. At the same time as his artistic career, Nawer runs a graphic design studio.
