Edmund Burke (born 1912, died 1999).
Polish painter, author of the polychromes of the Old and New Town in Warsaw during the reconstruction in 1954-1960.

In the years 1931-1935 he studied at the Municipal School of Decorative Arts and Painting under the supervision of professors Edward Butrymowicz and Mieczyslaw Schulz, from 1935 to 1939 he was a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw under the guidance of professors Felicjan Szczesny Kowarski and Leonard Pekalski.

In the years 1954-1960 he was responsible for designing and supervising the decorations of frescos and sgraffito of the elevation of tenement houses on the Old and New Towns rebuilt in Warsaw due to war damage.
