DDACO was born in Porto in 1945. His youth was spent in Africa where nature, light and freedom marked him deeply. It developed an intellectual search, where the interest for the Art was glimpsed.
He graduated in Instituto Superior Técnico, in Lisbon, dedicating himself to entrepreneurial life. The taste for painting is a constant crescendo. In 2003 he has inaugurated his own art gallery in Lisbon, the DDACO Gallery, dedicated to erotic art.
He is represented in public institutions and in private collections in Portugal, Spain, South Africa, Germany, Macau, Switzerland and Sweden.
