Jieun Park is a 27 years old korean artist. She's graduated from Kunkuk university in art, design and advetising. Jieun currently lives and works in South Korea. Despite her young age, she has already had a lot of awards and exibitions. Jieun Park loves to travel, it brings her emotions. Her works have been displayed in various art exhibitions in Korea, Hong Kong, France, and Italy and now in Singapore.
Jieun's personal feelings are described in the forms of painted ink marks betted describes as calligraphy, which are instinctively spread and dropped on the surface of korean paper. Then, she starts creating comparatively realistic images of the cities within the abstract ink marks, adding acrylic colors to convey the emotions she felt at specific moments of her trip: happiness, loneliness or eagerness.
