He was director of the Pavilion of Murcia in the Universal Exhibition of Seville in 1992, and director of the ten Biennials of Plastic Arts that in the eighties and nineties were organized in Murcia. In addition, he was Director for two decades of the Verónica and San Esteban Showrooms of Murcia, and Director, Commissioner or Coordinator of more than three hundred Visual Arts Exhibitions.

He has collaborated in various programs on Radio Nacional de España, COPE, Cadena SER and Onda Regional de Murcia, and is currently a regular contributor to the daily La Opinión de Murcia, as well as, occasionally, in different magazines and publications. He also has three books published: "El Picoesquina", "Saetas de Pasión" and "El Niño Versor"

In 1989 he was Pregonero of the Patron Saint of Puerto Lumbreras, in 1993, at the proposal of the Government of Spain, he was awarded the Civil Merit Medal. This year, he was also named Pregonero de la Semana Santa de Puerto Lumbreras.

In 2010 was the Pregonero of the XXI International Flamenco Song Festival "City of the Sun" of Lorca, in 2011 was Ambassador Moro of the Festival of the Shield and Invasion of Cieza, and in the year 2013, on the occasion of the Conference Gastronomic events organized by the Aguilas Town Hall and the Casa Menéndez Restaurant, awarded the "Faba de Oro". In 2014, he has been Pregonero of the XXVII International Tuna Costa Cálida Contest of the Spring Festival of Murcia.
