Pablo Maeso

Barcelona, 1964. He began as an abstract painter in the late 80's in galleries of the Borne. In 1999, as a realist painter he participated in the exhibition "Realism of Catalonia". His work is characterized by a meticulous but simple realism in elements, wanting in this way to reinforce the story or small stories that he shows us in his paintings. Clean and smooth colors remind us of pop painting from the 70s and its framing to cinematic scenes. The individual is the key in his world view, his characters an alter ego of himself.
